Cutenews tutorial

Note: No free hosting sites will work, make sure your site is hosted.Your site will have to use PHP for this program to work, cutenews will not work on websites that use HTML files for their pages, meaning http://yoursiteurl.com/index.php would be correct as to http://yoursiteurl.com/index.html is wrong. Now, if you dont already have it click here to instal it. Second, make sure you have a ftp program, try cuteFTP or smartFTP. you can download them here

After you've downloaded it, you need to zip the file, I use winzip. to download it click here Then the cutenews folder should open up, and you now upload the folder to your ftp program. right click on "DATA" and go down to "properties/chmod"- check all boxes and set permisions to "777"

then click here and read everything!
it will give you the codes to add for the number of pages &news. Then once your added the cutenews code

(example: PHP include("path/to/show_news.php

to your index page or where ever you post your blogs, then go to: http://YOURSITEURLGOESHERE.com/cutenews

this is where you post your news. then all you have to do is create a username & password and add/edit news.
